I WILL mention it! Seriously, I've been at this for a long time, fighting through lots of hurdles and challenges, often putting this dream on hold or on the back burner as a stay-at-home dad and volunteer. I don't spend much, if any, time doing the kind of self-promotion I ought to in order to gain the following I want so that I can realize the dream of making a living off my art. When I carve out time, I choose to make art instead of do the "business" stuff, for the most part. So, when people find my art on social media (the bare minimum I force myself to do) and react to it, it really lights up my day. SO, thank you!
